“How-To-Web” Video Series Debuts

YouTube is the second most popular search engine on the web. Businesses of all types can leverage video to extend their brand and increase engagement with their audience. To this end, we are pleased to announce our first video series on website strategy, design, development and maintenance called “1 Minute Breakdowns”. These short videos are aimed at businesses and individuals that are researching the development of websites. This series reflects our straightforward approach to sharing our 17 years of web building experience in order to help inform and educate.

SEO markets to robots, video markets to people.

Zak Brown – Executionists Marketing Manager

When we conceptualized our 1 Minute Breakdown video series, we determined that we needed to produce a constant stream of videos covering the breadth of the online landscape. Due to increasingly short attention spans and the vast amount of information available, we decided that videos of about 1 minute in length would be easy to watch. The 1 minute time frame forces us to be brief and to the point, and viewers will find it convenient to jump from one video to the next due to the minimal time investment. The value of the content, the variety of topics and the no nonsense presentation approach add to the video experience.

On the video production side, we realized that we had to be as efficient as possible. We needed to make setup, shooting and editing a painless process, otherwise we’d never get any videos done. So we took a low-hassle, low-budget approach and dove in headfirst. We are the first to admit our quality can be improved and our spokesperson’s delivery needs some work but we think our audience will overlook these issues and focus on the the useful content. We are sure to improve our quality over time.

Our first videos include the following topics:

and more…

Our goal is to have 40 – 50 videos by the end of 2016 covering a variety of online business topics. Besides our YouTube channel, we also have these videos available on our blog. Our blog also contains over 200 articles that help support and augment the video content.

If you would like to suggest a topic for a 1 Minute Breakdown or have comments, please call or email us.
